New Employee Orientation Pages

Consumer Financial Protection Bureau

On your first day...

You will attend New Employee Orientation (NEO), in Washington, D.C. Please consult your confirmation letter or email for more information on the logistics. The letter also includes contact information should you have any questions.

You will take the Oath of Office, learn more about working for CFPB, and submit your required forms from the "Before You Report" list. NEO will also be an opportunity for you to ask the Human Capital Team any questions you might have and to meet some of your colleagues.

We will verify your citizenship and eligibility to work on the first day. Please bring either an unexpired government-issued passport OR an unexpired government-issued form of identification with your photo (ex. driver's license or ID card issued by a State or outlying possession of the U.S.) AND a second form of identification like a social security card. Please refer to the Employment Eligibility Verification Form (Form I-9) on the "Before You Report" page for a full list of acceptable forms of identification.

If you have any questions about what you need to bring on the first day, contact BFS/ARC at 304-480-8000, Option 4, or e-mail CFPBHRProcessing@fiscal.treasury.gov.
