Consumer Financial Protection Bureau

Welcome

We are glad you chose to join our team at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), helping make the consumer finance market safer and clearer. Our employees are passionate about our mission and greatly enjoy the challenging and rewarding work that we do. We are delighted to count you among us.

Created by the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act of 2010, CFPB will promote fairness and transparency for consumers regarding mortgages, credit cards, and other financial products and services. Together we will work to ensure consumers get the information they need to make the best financial decisions for themselves and their families. We will also police consumer finance markets for unfair, deceptive and abusive practices. We encourage you to learn more about the Bureau at www.consumerfinance.gov.

Meanwhile we hope the new employee welcome site housed here will ease your transition into CFPB. We encourage you to use the links on the left to read through the key information contained here. It will help prepare you for your first day at CFPB. The purpose of this site is to:

  1. Answer any initial questions you might have about working for CFPB, and
  2. Supply you with the information and forms needed to complete your hiring process.

Remember that your supervisor and your Human Capital Customer Consultant are happy to answer your questions and help familiarize you with CFPB and the services/benefits we provide.

This site is maintained by the Administrative Resource Center (ARC) at the Bureau of the Fiscal Service (BFS). BFS/ARC provides a number of human resources services for CFPB and is available to answer particular questions you might have about anything from your health benefits to retirement accounts. If you have any questions about forms or information on this site, contact BFS/ARC at 304/480-8276 or by email at CFPBHRProcessing@fiscal.treasury.gov.

We'll see you soon!
